Basement Framing May 13, 2008

We started the basement framing on Friday, It will be done today. Main floor sub floors tomorrow.

Basement Floors - 5/06/08

We now have a basement and garage floor. It was a great day to pour.

Backfilled

The house is all backfilled and ready to pour the flatwork.

Foundation

Here are the foundation walls being formed and the finish product. These walls were quite a feat. You can also see the damp proofing and the sub plumb going in.

Footings

Heavy C did the footings. They did a great job considering it's the most important part of the house!

Foundation Hole

The foundation hole was fun to watch, here is the progress.

Ready to dig a hole

After three weeks of moving dirt, we are finally ready to move more dirt and dig a hole.

Moving a mountain

This is almost 150 loads of dirt taken away... 50 more to go.

Finally Starting

After nine months of waiting for a permit, the Federal Heights house is finally going up. This is the start of site work on April 23rd
